Every year, the
District collects and publishes the annual reports from Staff, the
District Board officers, submitted committee reports and the District
Trustee's Report..
How did the Rainbow Papers get that name? The collection is called "The Rainbow Papers" because at one time, each report was printed on different-color paper to help distinguish one report from another. The District still creates a limited amount of hardcopies to distribute at the Annual meeting, or for those who do not have Internet access. But now, most committee and board members and congregations take advantage of downloading an electronic PDF version. While not nearly as colorful has the hardcopies, the District thinks the electronic version gives congregations an excellent way to learn about its activities. And, you'll be saving paper at the same time. updated: 05/2008 |
